I owe a huge thanks to all the people who helped me in the production of this book--my students at UNC-Charlotte; Jennifer, Kent, and Dawn DeVoll for assisting with photos (and food); Richard, Bella, and Cynthia (Hardesty) Siebigteroth for additional help with photos and food; all my featured costumers and cosplayers who gladly offer... Although I've been working on several smaller writing projects over the past few months (mainly mission reports for 501st events), certainly my largest project is currently the costume/cosplay book.  I recently completed and turned into my editor the book's second installment--approximately 50% of the total book--complete with photographs, and am excited to see all the different components starting to come together!  It's been very interesting to read the stories submitted by m...

The Well-Dressed Puppet has gone up for pre-order on Amazon, with a new (earlier) projected publication date in late September!  You can place an order here.  The publication date on the order page has been incorrectly listed as July 16, but my editor assures me that the September publication is correct.  It's still out earlier than expected, which is great news-...

I just received the cover page rough for the puppet book--it's looking good!  At the moment, the publication date still stands at mid-October of this year, but that may change depending on how the final editing process goes.  So far, things seem to be moving along right on schedule.

In other book news, my revised proposal for my new costuming book (currently titled Creating the Character Costume:  Tools, Tips, and Talks with Top Costumers and Cosplayers)
